The Ondo State Government has directed that all schools in the state should reopen on Monday, October 19, 2020.
Primary and secondary schools as well as tertiary institutions in the state were asked to open on the same date.
The Chairman of Ondo State COVID-19 Committee, Prof. Segun Fatusi, disclosed this at a news conference in Akure, the Ondo state capital.
Fatusi said all schools must adhere strictly to the COVID-19 safety protocols and guidelines.
The state COVID-19 committee warned that all the regulations are non-negotiable to ensure the safety of all staff and students.
The Committee warned that any school caught not following all the regulations will be shutdown and their license withdrawn.
