Kano announces reopening of tertiary institutions

Kano State Government has approved the re-opening of all tertiary institution in the state from 18th, January 8, 2021.

This was contained in a statement issued by Commissioner of Higher Education, Dr Mariya Mahmud Bunkure on Friday.

Reports on 15th December 2020 Kano, Jigawa and Zamfara in the wake of the abduction of 333 students from a secondary school in Katsina, in the North-west closed schools immediately.

The statement advised all students and staff to continue observing the COVID-19 Protocol.
