FULOKOJA MATRICULATES 3,584 AS VC CHARGES NEW STUDENTS TO BE DETERMINED

A total of 3,584 fresh students took the Matriculation Oath on Friday, November 25, 2022 during the 10th Matriculation Ceremony of the Federal University Lokoja (FUL). The matriculating students could not hide their excitement as they were beautifully dressed in their academic gowns ready to be fully ushered into the University Community to pursue various degree programmes at the undergraduate level in FUL.

In his address entitled “DETERMINE NOT TO BE DETERRED,” the Vice-Chancellor, Professor Olayemi Akinwumi charged the matriculants to remain steadfast and determined instead of being deterred when confronted with daunting challenges during their academic sojourn in the University, saying that nothing good comes easy.

Similarly, the Vice-Chancellor urged the new students to uphold the tenets of the matriculation oath and be guided by the rules and regulations contained in their student handbook, adding that the University Management was working assiduously and doing everything possible within the limited resources to create a conducive learning environment while building a 21st Century University that would become a cynosure of all eyes.

Among the students who matriculated during the 10th Matriculation Ceremony that took place at the FUL College of Health Sciences (COHS) Auditorium, Adankolo Campus were the first 100-level medical students admitted into the MB;BS programme of the University
