FULafia Vice-Chancellor appoints dean, deputy deans, directors|By Paulinus AutaThe Vice-Chancellor, Federal University of Lafia (FULafia), Prof. Shehu Abdul Rahman, has approved the appointments of a new dean for the Faculty of Science and acting directors for the directorates of Linkages and Advancement, School of Basic and Remedial Studies (SBRS) and a Deputy Director, Entrepreneurial Development Studies. The new Dean of the Faculty of Science is Prof. Matthew Olaleke Aremu, who took over the deanship of the Faculty of Science from Dr. Nasirudeen Mohammed Baba. Until his appointment, Prof. Aremu was the Director of the School of Basic and Remedial Studies (SBRS).According to a statement issued by Bashir Ozomata, the Personal Secretary to the Vice-Chancellor, Dr. Muhammad Etsuyankpa Binnin has been appointed the Ag. Director of the School of Basic and Remedial Studies. Other appointments made known through the statement included that of Dr. Abubakar Mohammed of the Biochemistry Department, as Deputy Dean of the Faculty of Science, Dr. Mohammed Kabir Dahiru of the Geography Department, who is now the Ag. Director of Linkages and Advancement (L&A), Dr. Abdulkarim Mohamed Hamza of the Physics Department, Deputy Director of Entrepreneurial Development Studies, and Dr. Dalhatu Musa Yusha’u, Deputy Dean, School of Postgraduate Studies.
